Château d’Issan continues its cycle of contemporary art exhibitions with Béatrice Pontacq « Si proche, si lointain » (“So near, so far away"). The artist will display 15 large format canvases, drawings and a series of recent photographs.

The paintings speak of space, of comings and goings. In presence and absence, her works sketch places where emptiness, traces and obliteration try to reveal the tremor of time through a sense of loss and flight that point our temporality.
Once again, Château d'Issan confirms its status as a place of culture and its ambition to highlight emerging or confirmed artists.
