On May 18th 1152, the wine produced by Chateau d’Issan (named Lamothe Cantenac at that time) was selected for the wedding of Eleanor of Aquitaine with Henri II, King of England. After 863 years of strong links between Chateau d’Issan and England, we celebrated this wedding anniversary on May 18th 2015 in the heart of London, at Westminster Abbey, with all our British loyal friends and partners.
